Back in October my post “It’s All a Bit Fishy” sees me amazed at how little fish we eat here in the British Isles. Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall, Jamie Oliver, Ricky Gervais and many other celebrities are campaigning to Save Our Fish and stop discards at sea. According to Hugh’s Fish Fight, “Around half of the fish caught by fishermen in the North Sea are unnecessarily thrown back into the ocean dead.” Stop this madness, eat fish and help our economy heal itself.
