A Learning Process
Like life – and even like cooking with Thermomix – blogging is a learning process. I checked my blog yesterday only to find a message saying “Error establishing a database connection.” Whatever could that mean, I asked myself. It will most likely sort itself out.
Ha, ha, ha, it didn’t, so this morning I trawled through my CPanel administrative thingy and learned how to repair a database. Bingo! Back in business.
Apologies to my Aussie readers who were not able to read or search my blog yesterday and this morning!

All my blogs were down for almost two weeks in December, it took me, a developer, and a MYSQL bloke to fix them! Nightmare! Glad you got yours sorted!
Yes, Jo, every now and then it’s nice for bloggers to let their hidden sides be shown 😉 The jacket is actually a perfect condition, used, ex-British Army chef’s jacket that I nabbed on eBay for 99 pence. One of my best purchases ever!
Had any more IT problems with your blog since you last commented, Nora? I find server problems nearly every week and I suppose the time spent fixing them all adds to the Learning Process. I must be really learned by now… 😉

I can understand your frustration with technical issues like these! I have had similar problems myself when I set up my blog, it took me hours to find where the issue was… and I work in IT! As you say, it’s a learning process…
